On a two week driving tour of the North Island of New Zealand, we ran across termal hot springs, Maori culture, giant Kauri trees.  Look for the giant moa bone!

This still is the most fantastic adventure--incredible scenery, great food, remote wilderness... and a sense of 'why don't more people come down here!  It's magnificent!'  We spent two weeks exploring Santiago, the Lakes district, and Patagonia, and want to go back and see more!

Chris' parents went into the Peace Corps, and were sent to the Eastern European country of Moldova--an ex Soviet republic between Romania and Ukraine known for its wines!

After one of the rainiest El Ni�o winters, Death Valley wildflowers were blooming everywhere.  We took a roadtrip in the trusty Pathfinder to see them with a few buddies from LA.
