Your host (me!) at the first of the Graveyard Lakes. They're right at treeline, say, around 10,000' elevation. Guess that's just over 3000 meters high. |

Anyway, up there there's lots of cool alpine rock gardens with streams and bushes and wonderfully twisted trees. |

But mostly we just sat and lounged around. Dr Rocks poked around some, and found some pumice, which excited him... somewhat. (he's a volcanologist!) |
