Sierra Nevada Backpacking - Return To Graveyard Lakes

Up to the pass...

It kinda became obvious that we weren't going to make it up and over the pass to Peter Pande Lake... so we decided to hop and peek over the saddle between the Graveyard Lakes basin and the Peter Pande area.

So we hiked up and up the smooth granite...

And it wasn't long before we were up on top!

Below, Jack looks back over the upper Graveyard Lakes, and south towards Florence Lake and the heart of the John Muir Wilderness...
