Death Valley Roadtrip

We saw very little wildlife throughout the trip... didn't even see many bees. But we happened upon this lizard at the ruins of Ashford mills near the south end of the park. His aqua tail was really cool.

As we got further and further south, verbena started showing up. That's the pink-purple ball like flower you see below.

We also spotted a nice hillside of rusty rocks and purple phacelia, so Peter and I scrambled to the top to get a view.
