Today, the Christopher Bear and the Marmot™ drove around southern New Mexico, poking our heads around and seeing what's up. From Deming, we scooted across to White Sands National Monument, a wonderful formation of gypsum sand dunes. Really quite neat-you can drive among the dunes and walk around. Here I am (with the Saturn-of-Love in the foreground), thinking this looks a lot like North Dakota. "Didn't come from Brainard" was muttered often in these parts. Picnic tables sailing the dunes.
